Product Description: The Flying Silk Blue Vase is made of fine porcelain in a free-flowing silhouette that mimics the softness of silk in motion. This is a remarkable feat achieved through a complex, hand-sculpted process that showcases the skill and precision required to create such fluidity in porcelain. The vase features a narrow base that rises into a seed-pod-inspired shape, onto which a falling turquoise glaze was hand-applied to drip artfully. There will be variations in color from piece to piece due to the thickness of the glaze.
